What to Expect
blacksmithing has never been the cleanest of professions with dust and soot making clean white dinner shirts among the least desirable workshop attire. we advise that all forgers wear old cloths made from natural materials such as cotton and avoid wearing any synthetic materials as these can damage easily and pose a risk.
we also ask that forgers bring sturdy shoes, remove any jewlery and please inform us of any disabilities, special requirements or desires prior to the day.
We also ask that forgers pay close attention to the health and safety talk prior to starting you expeience and respect the rules of the workshop.

We also offer Vouchers for all the experience provided with the option of an email copy or a wax sealed hard copy that can be posted for a small additional charge.

Contact & book
First Locate the Royal Oak Hotel in Betws Y Coed and turn off the main road to the carpark on the other side of the road and proceed through the carpark towards the road on the opposite side.
Once through the Royal Oak Hotel carpark proceed down the small track towards the Tourist Information Centre
once you reach the Centre to your left there is a white, proceed through this gat and continue down this track untill you come to our free customer parking. once there you proceed on foot through the first large wooden gate and the forge will be infront of you.
