Booking with us
Booking your experience with us is a straight forward process, all you need to do is provide us with your desired choice of class and any need to know information regarding those attending the classes in question, (see who can book section). If you are unsure which class you'd prefer, that's ok to we have happy to provide any additional information and answer any queries you might have.

Who can visit?
We have worked hard to to make the forge both safe and accessible as possible, however there are some limitations.
Children under 11 years of age will unfortunately be unable to visit the workshop and all forgers under the age of 13 will have to work directly with an adult to insure safety and assistance with any strenuous work.
(adults and children working in this capacity will only be charged as one forger)
All forgers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
We cater to a wide range of disabilities both physical and learning, however we ask that you discuss any disabilities or health conditions with us before booking to insure legibility to attend and get the best experience possible with us.
What to Expect
blacksmithing has never been the cleanest of professions with dust and soot making clean white dinner shirts among the least desirable workshop attire. we advise that all forgers wear old cloths made from natural materials such as cotton and avoid wearing any synthetic materials as these can damage easily and pose a risk.
we also ask that forgers bring sturdy shoes, remove any jewlery and please inform us of any disabilities, special requirements or desires prior to the day.
We also ask that forgers pay close attention to the health and safety talk prior to starting you experience and respect the rules of the workshop.
our teachers will be there to guide you through every step of the process in forging your desired project as well as assisting you with any needs or difficulties you might have during the day.

We also offer Vouchers for all the experience provided with the option of an email copy or a wax sealed hard copy that can be posted for a small additional charge.

How to Find Us
Contact & book
First Locate the Royal Oak Hotel in Betws Y Coed and turn off the main road to the carpark on the other side of the road and proceed through the carpark towards the road on the opposite side.
Once through the Royal Oak Hotel carpark proceed down the small track towards the Tourist Information Centre
once you reach the Centre to your left there is a white, proceed through this gat and continue down this track untill you come to our free customer parking. once there you proceed on foot through the first large wooden gate and the forge will be infront of you.
