Axe Making Day
If you like a challenge then the ROF axe making day is for you. Full of heavy forging, this course will teach you all you need to know about making your very own chopper. Whether it is a simple log splitter, hatchet, carving axe or even something to take into battle! You can make it on this experience.
From punching the eye that will fit the handle to shaping the head, heat treating the edge and finally making and fitting a handle for use, you'll learn it all, including a few extra bits such as the age old technique of smith and striking with a two handed sledge hammer.
A prior warning for this course, it is heavy work and can be strenuous at times.
