Whether you are a seasoned metal worker or have never even picked up a hammer before, we have something for you! Our classes cover a wide range of challenges and allow a student to make a huge range of different items, learning a of skills to accompany them.
All of our classes are taught and led by experienced Smiths, who can lead a student of any level through every class with confidence and skill.
Along side our set classes we also offer the ability to completely customize your own experience with us, this could be a selection of items or techniques or even an entirely unique item that we don't currently offer a class for.
Classes
Whether you've never forged before or are simply looking for a unique experience to add to your day, the three hour blacksmithing taster package is perfect for you. During this taster session you will learn the basics of using a traditional forge, while creating your very own desired item. There is a huge range of forgeable objects to choose from, ranging between scroll knives to bottle openers and many more.

Our five hour blacksmithing experience is recommended for anyone looking to get their hands dirty with a new craft. This class aims at teaching forgers the basics of blacksmithing techniques much like our three hour course, but with the opportunity to really hone these skills over the course of the day. Without the time restraint of the shorter class, you'll have the choice to work on one large project.

By far our most popular and requested experience day, the knife making class allows you to use traditional bladesmithing methods to forge, shape and heat treat your very own knife. Whether it's for kitchen work, out door use or something else entirely, this course allows you to craft it.

During the experience you will learn everything you need to know about this process as well as using it to forge your very own knife to use for a purpose of your choosing.

This experience is for the forger who likes a challenge (and axes.) In this class you will spend the day turning an unsuspecting block of steel into an axe of your own design from scratch. Re-enactment ready battle axes, wall decorations, functional bush craft hatchets or even a good old fashioned log splitters have all emerged from this course before. You will even be given the option to fully heat treat and haft your creation.

This course consists of three days, one on one tuition with an experienced sword smith who will guide you step by step through the construction of your very own functional sword. This course is ideal for practitioners of HEMA and re-enactment, where the quality and functionality of the final product is vital to its performance.
