5 Hours In The Forge
This experience is designed with the keen forger in mind, utilising a whole day to play with (five hours). Without the time constraint of the three hour taster, you will have more freedom to work on numerous and elaborate projects with your teacher. The basics of blacksmithing will be where you begin, but over the day you have time to really get to grips with the techniques and hone your new found skills, creating some fantastic works in the process.
In addition to the possibilities achievable in the three hour taster, include decorated fire tools such as pokers, spades, brushes, tongs and holders as well as hook racks, spear heads, door knockers, basic tools and much much more. We always encourage you to come up with your own ideas and designs, so anything you have in mind, we'd love to hear about it!
